I rarely ever see people do a design of Kuchisake-onna in the style of about the same time period as the legend started. Most people do it in the more modern style, but don't get me wrong I love both styles. Thought to me this style, with the kimono instead of a trench coat and surgical mask, is so beautiful and much more terrifying. Your amazing artwork has made me fall in love with one of my favorite yokai even more.

I learned about her at Anime Boston this year. Scared the crap out of me then, and your pictures does an equal job now. It's beautiful, everything, until I stare at the face and tweak-out slightly from the joker-like mouth and soulless eyes. Hate to walk into her if I ever visited Japan...
